Classic fish gratin from school

Ingredients

  • 375 gr Alaskan pollock (also goes well with hoki fillet)
  • 3 dl breadcrumbs
  • 1 dl roasted onion
  • 1 dl finely chopped parsley (frozen or fresh)
  • 200g melt butter
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp squeezed lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

How to make it

  1. Thaw the whitefish in cold water.
  2. Place the thawed cod fillets in an oven-safe dish.
  3. Melt the butter in a saucepan.
  4. Mix melted butter with breadcrumbs, parsley, roasted onion, black pepper, squeezed lemon juice and salt in a bowl and then sprinkle the mixture over the fish and flatten it slightly.
  5. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees until it gets a light surface or for about 15-20 minutes.

Serve with boiled potatoes and green peas. A tasty dish!
